Stakeholder meetings
Over a period of four months, several stakeholder meetings took place to discuss the project’s progress with the Flemish government. The meetings involved a government analyst, a government attorney, and a communications specialist, each bringing their unique perspectives to the table.
In the early meetings, discussions centered around broad concepts. UX research had revealed user needs, but the design direction was still open. As feedback from the government team came in, the focus narrowed, with the team zeroing in on key features and refining the user experience. By the third month, the process became more technical, addressing layout, functionality, and usability.
The gradual narrowing of the design process was crucial, allowing the team to refine the product while balancing government expectations and user needs. The collaboration ensured a more focused, user-friendly product that aligned with the goals of all stakeholders involved.
Information architecture
Within this project, we are working on both improving an existing website and building a completely new process from the ground up, and finding a suitable solution for it. The detailed proposal outlined below is intended for this purpose.
